Well I do actually think you could up the carbs some more - but when it's cream, why mess about with arty farty stuff like spray rubbish (99.9% air) and not use a good ole dollop of clotted cream? - or at least - extra thick double cream. And why not eat more protein delivered in pulses?

Good ole neck of lamb stew with red lentils, at the very least?

Hi I’ve just popped in to ask a similar thing about my OH who is type 2 and hasn’t seen any health prof for over a year, he’s very thin and has an active job, he just burns everything off! Met someone yesterday who said how thin he is! He is allergic to eggs which doesn’t help. Not on medication. He eats cream, cheese, cold fatty meats, pork, sausages etc but I think he’s burning say 3-4000 calls per day just working and regularly exceeds 10,000 steps tia
@Chrissie Wa. Ive been told by a friend (former dentist) to ask to see a nutritionist when I see the consultant. Theres no reason why OH shouldnt ask the GP NOW. Burning off that many calories a day should require expert help in a diabetic. I have a Sound support Dog from hearing dogs for the deaf. It is a rule that the dogs MUST be off lead sniffing running exploring out of house for at least 1 hour a day. That means the Downs, fields, beach , country etc plus eve pavement walk and garden games........ Part serious - steak is good I believe. BUT get the medics to give best advice.

@trophywench Yeah luv it. The carbs are going up slowly. Gently gently.
Today I had poached egg /wm toast+ 2 slices of bacon 😛 Main meal 2 sausages, mashed pots with butter & milk& greens. Frozen fruits with Alpro and long squirt. 😎 Plus i had 2 homemade fruit/mince tarts and cappucino @ friends cafe. Tea time Boiled egg in mayonnaise mixed with sandwich spread, punnet of cress, 2 x wm bread slices. And aforementioned lo jelly , 1/3 banana, Tims kefir, plus squirt.
Im gradually building up.
Having spent 15yrs on a lo fat, lo sugar diet with failure it was HARD to mentally offload that idea. BUT there's a rack of ribs and mince in the freezer. Better ?
I intend to get some proper cream on my Xmas order . I shop once a week but its later this week to allow for Xmas.
