Recently I've been given the Libre, which is awesome. To my surprise I've found that I drop way more than I peak. I currently use digestive biscuits to sustain me. More than anything, they are convenient and require little preparation. Not that I'm adverse to cooking, in fact quite the opposite but at 1am, something quick and easily downable is my priority. Does anyone have some suggestions that are lower in sat fats etc?

Thanks

Are you Type 1? I'd suggest doing a basal test before anything else as if all is as well as can be there drops occurring regularly shouldn't really be happening xx

Well I would be much more interested in discovering exactly why you get low BG - is your basal insulin dose too much for your body's requirement at certain times of day? Or your insulin to carb ratio different for different meals?

When did you last do a 24hr basal test?

Edit - Hee hee! both typing at the same time!

Also I don't know which digestive biscuits you are using but the ones I eat are only 1.1g sat far per biscuit so unless eating loads I wouldn't lose any sleep over it xx
