made me chuckle that did :D

Very Very funny! 🙂

I love some of those comments. The one about the vodka cubes made me laugh out loud.

You may laugh...but you can do some genius things with ice cubes.

For instance, are you not much of a milk drinker but like a dash in your tea? And are you fed up with buying a small bottle of milk and finding half of it goes to waste because you don't drink enough?

Pour it into one of those ice-cube bags and freeze it. Hey presto, individual portions of milk for each cuppa, that will last as long as your freezer does!

Good idea. Always find it frustrating that milk has to be thrown away ( me and other half don't often have cereal and tend to use yoghurt as a topping anyhow and we both drink black tea- I'd actually resorted to black coffee rather than buying milk- milk "ice cubes" would be also useful if offering someone else a cuppa)

Very funny!!!

I freeze shop bought "Ragu", "Dolmio" or shop own brand in a cube tray. I then use them as pizza topping. 2 cubes for 1 pizza. And no waste 🙂

You're in precisely the same situation as me - I actually can't stand milk, but keep having relatives visit who seem to think the perfect accompaniment to a perfectly good brew is something squeezed out of a cow's underside!

Brilliant - got my day off to a happy start, and some good tips too.

P.s. if you ever find a recipe for toast, do let me know :D
