I have damaged my knee, twisted it. It’s swollen and very sore. Thinking of taking inflammatory medication, however not sure as I also use metformin and Humulin 3 insulin.

As @grovesy says, none of us are medically trained or know your circumstances/history, best to phone your chemist and ask for a quick chat with the pharmacist xx

Have you read all three leaflets that come with the meds? My insulin leaflet says to avoid aspirin.

Thanks for your replies. I am actually in Spain at the moment and my Spanish is limited and struggle to talk the chemists and read the leaflets etc. Decided to head home next week.

Well I'm afraid we can't give medical advice not being trained to and not knowing your background etc however leaflets I'm sure you could type at least sections into google translate to get it in english xx

Deffo check with the pharmacist. They are well placed to advise you and if they don’t know they have resources available to check for you.

We've had to use pharmacies in both France and Spain, the shop staff don't speak conversational English, but in both places the pharmacists have and we were able to each say what we needed to say and got the correct drugs for our ailments.

Use translation app on phone, few around.
