tested my BS before my lunch! Because now, 10 mins after eating it's down at 2.9 and my insulin won't even be working yet. I tested half an hour before lunch and it was high for me, 8.8 so gave myself usual ratio plus some correction at lunch.

Looks like an afternoon of eating and testing for me then.......

I had some cold pasta for my lunch to which I guessed the carbs to be 80g, my usual, tested my blood an hour and a half later 17.2, pre meal 6.6.........

I then contacted my better half to be told the pasta portion was only 40g, strange, will I be going low later is the question.........

Quite annoyed actually........I hate it when things dont go as they are meant to.........😡

Thank you guys. I survived the afternoon without too many problems. BS was still on the low side at tea time so adjusted my insulin. Woke up with a BS of 8.8 this morning which is high for me!🙄
