Cancer patient Geoffrey Southall has revealed how he was saved from the killer disease by DIABETES.
The 72-year-old is now in remission after doctors diagnosed him with prostate cancer two years ago. But they detected it only because his family has a history of Type 2 Diabetes – meaning the former British Steel worker gets checked out by medics every few months.
“I wouldn’t have known about it if it wasn’t for the diabetes,” the father of two said.
