WHEN Ian Holmes, 49, was diagnosed with diabetes, he breathed a sign of relief.
Fearing he had some incurable disease, the condition, in comparison, was something he thought he could handle.
It would prove to be the catalyst he needed to turn his life around and, in just seven months, he has shed 7st and reversed the progression of his type 2 diabetes.
