It took me 17 mins to jog a mile (3.5mph), which I know to most people is walking speed but I am only 5 ft 2, carrying all this extra weight and have wee short legs 😛. So I am really chuffed that I managed it. I usually only manage a speed of between 2.8 and 3 mph on the treadmill. And I managed 40 mins on the crosstrainer.

So all in all a very successful gym session :D

Well done you Cazscot, it's more than I could manage so will stick with walking!😱 Toby.

That's the way to do it!

Speed is irrelevant. It's the exercise that counts.

Andy 🙂

Just takes a little and it all helps. I went to the gym yesterday after 3 weeks away due to cold and work et al and my ratios have had to come right down after shooting up.

Lesson all diabetics 1 and 2 should try to do some excersize.

Marc

That's fantastic caz, well-done xxx

Well done. :D

I would like to point out that unless there is a severe petrol crisis I have no intention of jogging😛

Hi Cazscot,

Replied to your PM - so very very proud of you
Believe me a jog soon becomes a run!
Keep up the good work!

Thanks everyone, woke up with this stinking cold again today :( so not sure if I will make it to the gym today, will have to see how it goes...
