Hi All

I am type 2

I have flu temperature 37.8 this morning feeling rubbish anyone got any ideas of what I should do to keep my levels down, to weak to exercise?

:(

I'm very sorry to hear this Tom :( Are you on any medication for your diabetes? If not, and you can't exercise, then it may be difficult to keep levels down whilst you are ill, except by limiting the amount of carbohydrates you eat. Make sure you stay well-hydrated, and it might be worth asking the pharmacist what they would recommend to relieve the symptoms, bearing in mind your diabetes.

I hope you feel much better very soon! 🙂

Hope you feel better soon. Keep up with the fluids. I find when I am very hot and where possible minimal clothing and cool (tepid) showers help too. Other than that I go with Northerners advice

Thanks for the good wishes guys

Feeling much better now...checked my sugar levels once got scared and did not do it again - I will be back on the exercise bandwagon again now so will get brave again and check after a few days!
