Yesterday and today I had the exact same lunch, the only thing that was different was the flavour of crisp that I had, same brand, just different flavour.
Yesterday I had a post lunch rise of 0.1mmol
Today I had a post lunch rise of 5.4mmol
😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

Sorry you're having a hard time of it.
What was the different flavours though

Ready salted yesterday and salt and vinegar today!

It must be a factor outwith your control.....so your body......

these events will happen...unfortunately....

Now that is weird as vinegars are mean to lower the blood sugars.
This diabetes is a pain at times and has no rhyme or reason for playing up sadly.

That is strange, but this was happening with my breakfast a few weeks ago, spiking me, when I was eating exactly the same as I been for months with no issues. I am still trying to get my head around how eating rice cooked in different ways affects me totally different.

Could be you'd been more active before lunch yesterday than today? Or your body is just trying to wind you up.

Just focus on what might happen tomorrow 🙂

Nope, same routine as I do an office job. Its just so frustrating at times.

Same here, eat the same thing day in day out and one day not to bad next will send levels sky high, it's a right pain.

I have decided that I just have to accept that diabetes does weird things sometimes and I can't explain them. Rightly or wrongly I just take one day at a time now and hope that I stay under 7 before meals and under 8.5 two hours afterwards 🙂 I totally understand and sympathise with your frustration. Seems we just have to keep at it all the time and sometimes we win and sometimes we loose and quite often we don't know why. Hope you get better results tomorrow 🙂
