A WOMAN who was diagnosed with a rare type of ovarian cancer is taking part in this year?s Race for Life event to give-something back following life-saving treatment.

Joanna Reynolds, from Droitwich, was only 27 when she was diagnosed with a type of ovarian cancer that was only treatable with surgery.

Following a life-saving five-hour operation, Ms Reynolds lost both her ovaries and all her eggs.

The 29-year-old?s symptoms began in summer 2011 when she started having stomach pains.
