Down from 75 this time last year on diagnosis.

I am so thrilled. I know a little bit of it may be down to the insulin I’ve been using in pregnancy which has resulted in some lower levels (along with that horrible hypo I had).

I’ve worked my backside off trying to reduce my levels. I said before I had the test this morning that I would be happy with low 40s but this is incredible.

I’ve attached some pics of my results for the hba1c and serum lipids as I’m always confused by the serum lipids. What does it mean in terms of my cholesterol level? My other results for full blood count etc came back as ‘satisfactory’ apparently

Well I had the blood tests this morning in preparation for my annual diabetic review with the GP next week. I’ll be seeing my pregnancy consultant tomorrow and I am sure they will be pleased.

That’s fantastic @merrymunky

Well done you and congratulations on all your hard work paying off. Hurrah!

Fantastic, congratulations 🙂

Nice one 🙂

Fantastic results.

Brilliant results, congratulations x

Excellent results @merrymunky ! 🙂 I was just thinking about you and wondering how you were getting on 🙂 Obviously very well! 🙂 I hope all goes well tomorrow 🙂

MM - Serum = Blood. Lipids = cholesterol.

It's like if they say you have eg 'renal failure' - renal = kidneys. And the Hb bit of HbA1c = haemoglobin. Haemoglobin = red blood cells.

Just the medical terms!

Wow! What a journey you have been on, made up for you. You’ve put the work in and it’s paid off, just wonderful! Xx

Amazing! Well done!

Just great MM! You = star.

I understand that bit. I just meant the actual results in terms of how good they were. I googled and it seems they are all in the perfectly normal range though so that’s good.

Excellent numbers. Well done. 🙂
