I have been doing more shifts ar work and checking my levels more and have sometimes noticed my levels getting around the 4 mark but within 5 minutes reading around 8 so put it down to liver kicking in but tonight I had a slight headache and thought id see what my bs were to find I was at 3 but felt completely fine..... This has thrown me it full on panic I have had one other time like this were I checked my bs and was in a hypo. Could I have had more and not known? Im now really worried about work, driving ect the hypo itself doesnt bother me its not having warning signs! Any advice or opinion would be great.

Perhaps you need to test more regularly until you are more sure what your hypo symptoms are. You say you felt fine but you did have a headache so that might be one of your more subtle signs so next time you feel the same you can check to see.
Be careful with driving though as you must be above 5mmols to even sit in the drivers seat.

I usually do get sign even when I get to 4 other than one other time I get shakey, irritable and confused this is why im worried because last night I felt completely fine and the last couple of weeks iv had quiet a few headaches... I will start testing more hopefully this will help. Yeah I dont drive unless im above 5. Thank you for the reply.

Usually (in my case, anyway) not feeling it is actually a sign it's dropping gently as opposed to suddenly plummeting.

So you need to work out why it's dropping anyway cos that is the imprtant thing. Find out why and try not to repeat whatever it was. eg a fatty meal? or slower-release carbs at the previous mealtime? or alcohol, or previous exercise - or whatever - ALWAYS assuming your basal is spot on.

Is it?

The only thing I can put it down to is coming off my period because iv not ate anything different or changed my insulin or more exercise....... Iv just took my levels because I have a hair appointment to find im at 3 again with no signs iv had my usual morning routine apart from a shower but surely a shower cant cause it???? Its completely thrown me and starting to feel like im going back steps :(

Yes a shower can cause it...

The warmth of the shower can increase the adsorption of you insulin, and due to be wet etc can mask some of the finer first signs of an hypo.

And sometimes it's because we just preoccupied with something else, so just miss the subtle symptoms...

Also how you treat an hypo, can cause problems..

This is a real bone of contention between me and hubby (he's T1 as well)

He does get some real nasty hypo's that end up requiring me calling the paramedic's out..

There is 3 reasons behind these..

1, incorrect treating a hypo, he'll eat biscuits and perhaps have a glass of milk..

Problem with this is that they are slow acting, so his levels will continue to drop before they kick in..

2, doesn't retest after treating just assumes that he's eaten so that's it.

Problem with this, he doesn't know whether he's eaten enough to mob up excess insulin, so either stays hypo or suffer another pretty soon afterwards.

3, Knows he's hypo, but decides to finish off or wait to treat it..

Did this the other week, just returned with the dogs decided to wait until I made a coffee before treating, it ended up with at one stage 2 ambulance crews in my lounge...

These all go towards desensitising the finer symptoms....

I always have 4 jelly babies two toast with peanut butter whicg I have done today iv tested every 20 minutes and havent yet gone above 4 so now coming up to dinner and not sure what to do plus I have to be out the house and driving before 1 its making me very stressed I usually have loads od signs that im in a hypo..... I have never had a problem with a shower before but ill keep that in mind thank you. I feel I take a step forward and get slapped back 5 steps its so frustrating and no answer from dsn :(
