The first day on Lantus was very good but I am getting night time Hypos two last night sent an email to the team daytime results are great and have got more energy
I have just been taken off Levemir due to an allergic reaction it caused huge red marks also high bedtime results and even though I am on Novarapid two hours after eating it would not come down at least my day time results are constant thus I feel better its really a vicious circle I live on my own my results have been down to 2.2 one night then 2.9 last night no warning and then 3.6 4 hours later. I treated it with orange juice it is very frightening
Just as a tip Christine, orange juice isn't the quickest to treat hypos.
The best is reckoned to be lucozade or regular coke, 150ml which contains 15g of glucose to treat a hypo.
Hope you can get things sorted.🙂
