I came across this video while reading a diabetes blog that I dip into every now and then.

It's a b/v-logger who videoed herself while hypo (after taking something for it of course!). Just quite an interesting insight into how it feels to be hypo. I certainly identified with the slightly vacant look and confused speech and frustration.

Oh, and she's using US readings, think the 54 converts to 2.7/2.8 ish.

I recognise the vacant pauses! very frustrating 🙂

I may have been hypo more than I thought. I've been getting those blanks for some time, when stringing a coherent sentence together is like wading through treacle. I stammer and my mind goes blank. Scary.

i always thought it was just me...

Was amazed at how she could talk so much while that low if it were me i'd need to be sitting down for the ten mins before my blood sugar comes back up otherwise I feel worse cause all I want to do when hypoing is lay down and be silent.

I think it's quite scary like she said that we can look so normal whilst being so out of control of our bodies. Sounds silly but made me a bit emotional  her talking about her diabetes like that.
