Hi folks,
It doesn't happen very often, but I've never been told as to what I should have as a snack when my blood sugars are low at bedtime.
Last night when I went to bed, I was reading 3.9. I felt OK but was aware this is dangerously low to go to bed on so I had 5 jelly tots and an oat nobblie biscuit (vile things, especially after cleaning teeth!). Fifteen minutes later my reading was 4.8, but I checked it again a couple of hours later when I had to get up to go to the bathroom and was 4.2 so I had another oat nobblie. When I woke in the morning, my blood was 5.4 so I think I did OK, but I am interested to know what you would have done if this happened to you.
Thanks
Jim 🙂
