Saw Dr S this afternoon about the joint pain and he wants more blood, the wee vampire, so he can check my calcium levels. He said that they were elevated last time (high side of normal) and wants to see if they still are, or if there's been a change. Not sure what it means, but he muttered something about checking my thyroid function. Oh joy.

Hi Alison I hope that the latest tests start giving you some answers x

Coincidentally, that was one of the chapters in the evidence-based medicine book that I edited a decade ago. If you have any questions, I can look up the answers.

Hope it leads to some answers and treatments Alison 🙂

It could explain everything that's been going on with me, the pain, the mental stuff, the nausea, everything.

Good to hear doctor is thinking seriously about what could be affecting your health, AlisonM - this might be the blood test that leads to start of improvement 🙂

Hope the results give you the answers and help you need and you soon feel better.
