Anyone tipping hydroxychloroquine on top of their diabetes treatment is a lunatic. The effect would be marginal at best, and it's a dangerous drug.

Well the text sates that H reduces BG like Metformin, ergo I'd never read the rest since Metformin doesn't have the ability to reduce BG !

There's so little quinine in commercial tonic water by now, I know full well it wouldn't be effective in treating malaria.

There again it does work preventatively and I am living proof of that, cos despite being bitten by mozzies every time I've been on a holiday to where they've lived, I've never had malaria. I've only drunk it with preferably Bombay Sapphire, ice and a slice though so can't comment on how beneficial drinking it neat might be.

quinine years ago was an old remedy for Malaria until advances came along. quinine tablets on their own have been used over here for other things as i know someone who was on them until told it could cause heart attacks then that was the end of that as they say.

as for tonic water tastes horrid on its own but nice with some gin, ice and lemon. good if you want to stop drinking beer to loose some weight.

Dunno about losing weight. Alcohol contains lots of calories whichever drink you take.
