When you've made a change to your humalog dose how many days does it take before you should see any changes in your BS results? Also after how many days can you make another change?

I know Lantus is 3 or 4 days or even 1 week.

Humalog is very short acting, so, as long as you take the right dose for the right meal, then it should give a good result immediately.
However, remember that many people need different insulin:carbohydrate ratios for different times of day.
So, you can have a different dose or ration for every meal, provided you know what you're doing.
You might also need to adjust the timing of your injection. Immediately before a meal is generally best / safest when there is some doubt about when food will be ready eg in a restaurant, but a delay between injection and starting eating may be better, and a split dose may be best to cope with a high fat meal eg pizza with lots of cheese, where fat delays the absorption of carbohydrate

As Copepod says, you should notice the change before the next meal - however DAFNE recommendations are not to adjust until you've observed the same pattern twice, to make sure it wasn't just a fluke, and only to change one thing at a time so you can clearly see what effect it has had.
