Anyone know what the time frames are for Humalin S..?
Currently on Lantus and Novo but i've been prescibed Humalin S to take before bed to stop night highs.

is it to be taken at night, without any food? Are you going to be taking a set dose or adjusting depending on your blood sugar?

hmm ... just cracked open the first vial of HumalinS and don't have anything to inject it with! .... the doc knows i use a novopen aswell!
Anyone know if there is a certain pen for HumalinS or just syringe?

Hello.. i'm due to take it before i go to bed. Early days but it'll be a small dosage/testing and work up the dosage from that.

Looks like it comes in 3ml cartridges, which can be used in the luxura pens

Will be interested to hear how you get on, never heard of it this type of insulin being given in this way. At what time do you get the highs?
