Welcome to the forum @coyil . Sorry that you have had difficulties with managing your diabetes, but pleased that you have joined the forum.

Are you able to identify anything that you changed between the two HbA1c tests that could explain the change.

Hi coyil, welcome to the forum.

Always glad to have see even the smallest amounts of success with reducing numbers as it means you have some of the foundations, just need to build on it.

Do you know what you were doing that works and how you could turn that into a longer term strategy?

We've got lots of examples of people creating ling term solutions that work for their lifestyle so have a look around the forum and main site and let us know if we can help in any way.
