I have just watched the trailer for this, a follow up to the How NOT to Run 50 miles.
A Radio1 XTRA DJ decided to run an ultra marathon and was then diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes.
Having only seen the trailer, I don't know if he was successful but even trying to do such a thing a year after his diagnosis is inspirational for me.
 
Thanks for reminding me about this, I must watch it 🙂 I saw the earlier one, when he was poleaxed by his diagnosis 😱 Biggest inspiration of this kind for me is ex-professional Scottish cyclist Roddy Riddle - he has done a number of extreme events - a bit of information here:

 
I’ve heard Roddy Riddle give a talk at a T1 conference. He’s amazing, and a really nice guy.
