How to reduce cholesterol level?

The primary source of cholesterol in your body is the cholesterol that is produced in your liver.

Your liver produces more cholesterol when there is more insulin circulating in your system.

Therefore the most effective way to reduce your cholesterol is to eat in a way that means your body needs less insulin.

That means eating low levels of carbohydrate and supplementing the calorie deficit caused by eating fewer carbs, which means eating more fat.

By low levels of carbs, that would mean probably less than 50g a day, and realistically, probably less than 24g. By way of reference, a sandwich is likely to have 40-50g of carbs in it.
