How to get back on track

You are welcome to document here if that helps! But don’t feel you have to if it feels like it adds to the diabetes workload though.
Nah think it might give a focus. Save me thinking about it all the time. And all of you have helped so much.

A trip to an osteopath might help if it has been going on that long and they will give you exercises to do as well as manipulate you to try to realign things. Hope you can get some help to find relief from it. That sort of pain makes everything in life that much more difficult, so getting that sorted will help to make your diabetes more manageable.
Could it be related to the diabetes?

So HbA1C results are in.... 73.
Routine appointment with GP as liver function slightly abnormal and to discuss my cholesterol eek.

Unlikely I would say if it is sciatica. What I meant was that pain and inflammation will affect BG levels as well as your mental state, which in turn makes your diabetes more difficult to manage.
How long is it since you gave birth? Just wondering if you pushed something out of alignment in the process. Constipation can also cause sciatica for me.... Don't know if that might be applicable to you.... not asking 😳... just something to consider, but unlikely if it has been going on for months 😱

It has been almost 17months since I gave birth so prob not that.
Wasn't sore over night so happy.

Look what happens when I take my insulin correctly and don't binge on the evening. Got to get out of bed yet so let's see what foot on the floor does.

Great graph Alison! You seem to do fantastically well when you are able to keep on top of the Levemir injections and that must give you a boost seeing such great control of your levels as well as make you feel better physically, I know I hate the feeling when my levels are in double figures. It seems to make things much harder work than they should be.

Breakfast wasn't so good, but no morning walk and my libre was showing me going down fast so I didn't wait as long as I wouldve have corrective dose and prebolus. But annoying but not bad. Also it has taken me all morning to come back down to 6.2.
Def feeling better. Just need like a good few days of it going like this and it will help me physically and mentally
A little annoyed at my cholesterol being 4.8, never really thought about it before but mayb it is time to get that right too x

You are being too self critical. That graph is really great (not perfect of course ... but that is because non diabetic people can't manage perfect graphs either!!) There is in fact, no such thing as a perfect graph or perfect readings. I would happily swap you for mine. I think you need to be a bit more relaxed about this stuff and stop over analyzing it and be really happy that you are doing so well, rather than knit picking.
As regards cholesterol, the modern thinking is that dietary fat has nothing to do with blood cholesterol because the body manufactures it's own cholesterol rather than absorbing dietary fat directly into the blood stream, so there may be little you can do about your reading which again is not a bad reading. Cholesterol like fat, has been given a bad reputation for years and people are frightened of it, but it is an essential component of our blood and necessary for us to be healthy. If your levels were very high then you might need help to reduce them but 4.8 is not bad.
You have enough on your plate with a young child and 2 older ones if I remember rightly and managing your diabetes.... Don't over burden yourself with stuff that doesn't need your attention. Focus on what you can manage, which is hopefully taking that Levemir regularly and ignore the little niggly things that you could spend a lot of time and effort on and still not achieve a better result. Sometimes the harder I try the more things go awry. As a perfectionist, I know it is difficult but I am learning to be more chilled and it really does help!

The body needs cholesterol for all sorts of processes, but it is the ratios of the HDL, LDL and triglycerides which is as important as the total cholesterol, 4.8 is a not bad level anyway.

These are my full results.

So brilliant day yest and night. Foot on the floor this morning, but walk sorted that out. Maybe a little lower during the night? Screenshot_20210701_051936_com.freestylelibre.app.gb.jpgScreenshot_20210701_070745_com.garmin.android.apps.connectmobile.jpg

Congratulations, that is another great day's result!
