Carly is doing well with MDI and carb counting with few hypos occasionally but last weekend we went away sadly she had 8 hypos over the weekend :-( it's must be due to her excitement so I wonder how do you mums deal with them?

Hi Ruth,
It is not necessarily due to being excited, perhaps Carly was more active, or the weather was colder or eating different foods which are harder to carb count as your never sure what is in sauces and other hidden things. Its hard to predict whether a change in routine will make any difference - but if there were two or three hypo's then remember that hypo's breed hypo's and perhaps run a little higher for a day or so if this happens again.🙂Bev
