Hi everyone, just wanted to know how I go about taking my Lantus in the morning rather than the evening. Thank you.
Ok good advice, thank you.I’d move it back gradually, an hour or two at a time each day until you get to the time in the morning you want to take it.
Currently taking it at 9pm, but have been having hypos quite regularly in the night. What’s your current time and the time you’re aiming for? I’d also set alarms on my phone to make sure I didn’t forget each new time!

If the dose is causing you hypos then it would be worth changing the dose before the time. Changing the time might just mean the hypos happen in the day instead.Currently taking it at 9pm, but have been having hypos quite regularly in the night.
I tried that a while back lowered my dose by 1 unit, but was regularly going high between meals then.If the dose is causing you hypos then it would be worth changing the dose before the time. Changing the time might just mean the hypos happen in the day instead.
Did you try a basal test without meals to find out whether this was bolus or basal, or a half unit pen?I tried that a while back lowered my dose by 1 unit, but was regularly going high between meals then.
