Went for my blood taken this morning in preparation for my review next week, wow its it because i live near Whitby? I read Bram Stokers book loll and i had to look away the nurse said hang on dont you have two needles a day loll ok rant over, still got the lolly pop worth going loll

Totally off subject but where did you get the bag on your avatar? I want one lol!
 
Different vials for the different tests they do - HbA1c, U&E, TSH - and a pot full of pee for the A:C ratio. If they happen to be testing for owt else - more vials for those too! They each have the specific anti-coag and whatever other chemicals they need in them for that test, and they are colour-coded too - so they can't accidentally get the A1c ones mixed up with the PSA or Vit D etc tests you or other folk might be having in the same lab that day.

It may look like what Tony Hancox said was 'a whole armful' but actually, a couple a teaspoons is all it is!

I was hoping that bag was pump-sized - I'd love wearing that on my waistband!
