Angelica, my goodness you discover new things every day, I must try it, but hiw do I get it, i.e., in what form should I take it?

If I am not good, I am running to the loo way too much. I hate it, but this doesn’t happen on low carb. I let this slip over Christmas, and bitterly regret it. I would be interested to know Drummer if you follow low carb from a book, or just finding what you should have by checking itinternet. I’m desperate to get back.

Often wondered too if anyone has low carb dessert ideas?
That would suggest your blood glucose is too high Annette are you testing yourself before and after food?
If your problem is because blood glucose is too high it might not be a good idea to use a supplement that stops you urinating.

If you can get your blood glucose down you won't have so many trips to the loo.

and here, don't forget to read the cautions:

Supplements may not be a good idea and they help with loss of appetite

Reducing blood glucose levels seems like the best option.

Hi Jodee, you are right, I know that when my BG is at a good level, but by no means perfect, My runs to the loo are greatly reduced to what I would say is normal.

I'm not sure how many times I go. Good question. feels like a lot of times in the day maybe around 7 times or more? I go in the night about 3- 4 times. But I also have this odd thing going on. i have diabetes type 1 and ibs ( irritable bowel syndrome) but I also seem to get really nervous and anxious when going loo then I just can't go even though I'm bursting to go. I have schizophrenia aswell. I told the doctors many times but they took a long time to refer me to the hospital incase it's physical problem. I've now been waiting a year to see urology in the hospital they havn't contacted me at all and I can't get through when I call them it's very frustrating. I get this sort of feeling like I'm frustrated and anxious on the loo and it stops me going for a wee. It's a similar feeling I get when I get the rolling eyes thing my eyes go up to the ceiling and I feel like I'm having a seizure I can't look down. It's really an uncomfortable feeling weird. Does anyone else get this?

I was referred to a Urologist and all sorts of tests done. Pretty much OK except I have a prolapsed bladder but he said not to worry. I have to get up roughly every 2 hours during the night and sometimes ( it's really annoying) just a trickle at a time so I have to sit there til it's stopped trickling. It may also be to do with IBS which I've had for years.
Plus old age ( Cannot work out how to use the smilies!)

Aww you poor thing. Sounds annoying I can sympathise with that I find it really annoying when I can't go too. Yes I think it does get worse if I have an ibs flare up but it seems to happen nearly all the time so I'm not sure if it's just my ibs. I can get anxiety with my mental health aswell so it could be shy bladder syndrome. I'm in my 20's so don't think it could be age related. Anyway let's hope my appointment comes through with the hospital fingers crossed they can check it out then.

About 3 or 4 times in 24 hours. I drink a lot during the day and a glass of water before bed so it works as my alarm clock and wakes me at about eight in the morning.

Before I cut my carbs right down and got my blood sugars tackled (basically before my diagnosis) I was having to get up in the middle of the night to pee and I was going to the loo quite often in the day as well. It was a big relief when that all settled down quite early on in my Diabetes journey.
