Relationship to Diabetes
Type 1
After registering here a while ago I thought I should finally get around to introducing myself. I was first diagnosed as type one over 25 years ago. Over those years the quality of my diabetic control has been somewhat varied but overall it has tended to be fairly stable. Like everyone else the way I have managed my diabetes has also changed as the advice and available options have improved. About six months ago I switched to using a pump, a Roche Accu-Chek Spirit Combo to be specific. Although I certainly cannot say that my switch to a pump has been trouble free I do not have any regrets about choosing to go with this option.

Anyway let me say "hi" to everyone and although you probably need to give me a bit of time to find my feet I am hoping to be able to contribute to some of the discussions here.
