Evening all, I put a post on a while back regarding applying to get the C1 part of my license back, after being given a medically restricted license last February 24 with the C1 part removed ( which I needed for our newly purchased 5 ton motorhome )
Anyway, after almost 10 months I received it today in the post, with C1 part reinstated. What a stupidly long drawn out process ??? I was given misinformation about what to do and what to apply for etc etc, I needn’t have paid for a D4Drivers medical assessment as the DVLA didn’t even consider that. The last I heard from DVLA was about 2 months ago when they phoned me to tell me their own DVLA consultant had filled in some pages wrongly during our online consultation and that they were also still waiting for a letter from my GP.
Made up to get my C1 back as my nerves couldn’t take anymore of my Mrs driving our motorhome. My license only lasts a year though so hopefully when I re-apply next year it won’t be as drawn out !
