I make a lot of home made yogurt, but recently had 3 failures, which appears to be due to Onken Natural Yogurt (not flavoured) not having live bacteria in it. As proof I bought a pot of Yeo Valley yogurt today and the yogurt has come out perfectly.

I cannot think why this should happen unless they sterilise the yogurt, anyone got any ideas.
