Hi all

School holidays in Fife so we are off tomorrow to Turkey (first time). Just packed all of the needles etc etc, .......and the suitcase!
Bit scary but I'm told its OK, even for us lot - we'll see!
No contact for a week so you all take care, will be back on line by 26th.

Just a bit scary as we normally go by ferry and take the car so feel safer re medicines etc. First time we've been to Turkey but told it's quite civilised. Lived in middle east for a few years so we are used to Muslim lifestyle - but 20 years ago pre dx!!
 
Have a good time Ron. I am sure you will find Turkey very enjoyable. BTW are you aware that you need a ?10 note for each passenger to pay for your visitors visa upon arrival? Hopefully you have been told that, unsure if they will accept Scottish tenners too!

Yes travel agent told us, so managed to get English ?10 notes from Natwest in Dunfermline. Feel like a foreigner abroad already!
