Hi does anyone know a good place to get holiday insurance covering DIABETES please?

I got mine a few days ago through a link on Diabetes UK. The company are called All Clear and seem pretty good. Wasn't as expensive as I was expecting either.

Welcome to the forum, Sherrie and Rachel248. Most companies offer travel insurance to people with diabetes. If they charge you more, then find a different company. Personally, I use a comparison website to find suitable cover.

I went through Allsure and got very reasonable cover with Diabetes. It rocketed up after surgery so switched to one with a bank with a bit extra to pay for the extras.

I've never looked for anywhere special, just whoever's the cheapest offering the best cover at the time. Never paid more for it, and wouldn't do so anyway. At least in Europe, you have to use your EHIC card anyway otherwise insurers impose a larger excess.

However of course EHIC doesn't include anything other than medical, nor repatriation.
