Holby City organ donation episode slammed as ?reckless? by NHS

The most recent episode of Holby City centering on organ donation has been deemed ?reckless? and ?inaccurate? by NHS Blood and Transplant.

The storyline involved a ?heart-swap? between a girl left brain dead after an accident, and another girl needing an organ transplant.

NHS Blood and Transplant, the body responsible for organ donation, has since written a two-page letter stating that ?gross distortion? of organ donation might encourage people to request that their names be removed from the organ donor list.
