Hi - It's strange, that sometimes I feel really good and other times the dark mood swings and such and anxiousness. I have been told to expect this, especially being a newbie ( diagnosed in June 2011). However, I think it is also a combination of other factors as well (long term unemployment etc) plays a part as well. The mind boggles.

Good morning, I was diagnosed in August and although I have been anxious I've swung the other way to determination - I'm determined that diabetes is not going to dominate my life but become my best friend - when I was first told I couldn't think about anything else but then I thought life goes on - I've enrolled onto a computerised accounts course and I'm going to learn to swim in 2 weeks time. It takes time and I'm still learning...... Take care Amanda x 🙂

Hi everything you have said ( apart from being a newbie) happens to me. Somethings I feel great and a lot of the time, such darkness is always there. I too am a long term unemployed person, on JSA, and I hate it and I'm sure that does play a huge part in my, your, life. Yep the mind does boggle. Anyway, try and have a good day and I hope you feel a bit better soon. Best wishes and take care Sheena x
