Type 2
Hi, I was diagnosed type 2 about 10yrs ago, after years of gradually mounting bg levels and increasing meds I read about the lchf diet. As I said my bg levels were slowly mounting so I thought "what have I got to lose?" apart from weight of course! That was about two years ago now and since then I have lost just over two stone, have gone from 4x metformin and 1x gliclazide a day to just 2 x metformin a day and have got my Hba1c down to 39. I have to say that lchf has exceeded anything I thought it would do for me. I would just like to add that I don`t eat huge amounts of fat, I just don`t avoid it.

Hi chri5, welcome to the forum 🙂 Wow, well done! 🙂 Many people have found that the LCHF has worked well for them, good to see you have had such great success with it 🙂 A lot of research these days is showing that fat isn't the enemy it has been made out to be over the past 30 years! 😱

Hi welcome chri5 🙂
Well done on your progress since eating low carb. It certainly helps keep my numbers down.
