Relationship to Diabetes
Type 2
have been browsing again, so thought I had better say Hi 🙂
my name is Mo and live in Dorest, am married. have 3 grown up kids haha, and 21/2 grandkids
I am disabled , and Diabetic plus had a stroke and now have Chronic Kidney Diesease stage 4. plus a few other things haha- mores the pity 😉
I am now been taken off metfornin and relying on Insulin ............ But hey ho here we go again on another 'journey'

Hello and welcome to the forum!:D

Sorry to hear your having health problems. If you have any questions or have any advice to offer please join the 'general chat' section of the main board. I am sure you will have lots of experience and this is invaluable to newly diagnosed. My son is 11 and just started on an insulin pump a few weeks ago - so far its going well. Sorry, i dont know enough about type 2 as my son is type 1 - but there a lots of lovely people on here who will be available if you need any advice etc..🙂Bev

Hi Mo you sound like you have really been through the wringer,but at least you have not lost your sense of humour. I'm a Newbie as well and it looks like a good decision to join up. Keep your chin up.

Hi Mo, welcome to the forum. Sorry to hear things are a bit rough,but this is a lovely supportive forum, you'll never be 'alone' with issues, there's lots of sound Diabetic knowledge available.
