Tut! I went up to the Walk-In Centre this morning to get my blood taken for my HbA1c and kidney function tests - the young lady cheerfully informed me that they no longer do them! 😱

Instead, I had to go back to the GP surgery, which I usually avoid as you have to make an appointment and it's always ages to wait. Sure enough, I can't have the tests done now until 5th July, which means I've also had to rearrange the GP appt. for next week as otherwise we wouldn't have a lot to talk about.

I know we are pretty well off in this country on the whole, healthcare wise, so I'm not complaining. I just wish they would publicise these things more. Still, got a bit of walking in! 🙂

Argh, that's annoying. I've had it happen when time sensitive samples have sat around all day before being transported, and have then had to be done again.

Make sure you add the walking total onto the challenge thread! 😉

We are able to get out and about and still find it hard to get the treatment and services we need to stay healthy, how do others get on with the run around like this?
