Scrivens Opticians and The Hearing Company is rebranding to Scrivens Opticians and Hearing Care. The decision coincides with the 75th anniversary of the family-run business and reflects the rapid growth of the hearing service within Scrivens Opticians over the last 10 months, since winning successful NHS contracts.
In the past year, the hearing industry has undergone a transformation with the introduction of the Any Qualified Provider (AQP) scheme for the supply of NHS hearing aids. Following an extensive tendering process, Scrivens Opticians and Hearing Care has been awarded NHS contracts to supply NHS hearing services in 80 of its practices.
