Hi All,

How you doing? After a full year of not having a cornish pasty from the shop.I decided to have two last week...result, my lip swelled a bit. It confirmed that Nov 16 was no fluke as I felt a funny feeling in my throat.
Well this week, I was on the grass at the park doing exercises...same thing happened. Luckily I went to the Urgent Care Centre in the evening. Dr put me on Piriton and advised me to be referred to the Allergy Clinic.
It came at a tricky time, stressing out over lack of money, bills, sparse work etc. Read up abour histamines though. The positives..no way as bad as June 2017 when mu mouth swelled up due to Perindopril and Sept due to Losartine Potassium... but.... getting there...

Fascinating @rustee2011!

What a shame for you though :(

Glad to hear it was not as bad as last time though. Hope the antihistamines work for you.

Yep. What was strange was back in June, when I was advised by the consultant it was Perindopril. I remarked but I have been on this med for over 2 years! Then I was told it normally causes this reaction to people of Afro-Caribbean origin! Makes me wonder why I was given this in the first place
