well no reason that i can think of, unless its stress, sat and sun my sugars started off ok then by tea time one day was 22 and the next 18 i did the extra correction dose and upped the first one majorly as over twenty and they came back down, was glad it happened at meal time so i could add it to my normal meal dose, cant think of any reason why these occured, grrrrrr when somthing like this happens i really really hate it, i feel like i am not being a good diabetic and blame it on myelf even though i dont know why they happened .... rant over

The reason these things happen is due to the law of sod plus you are human, not a piece of machinary so you wont/don't run like clock work. 🙂

Medusa.

Dont beat yourself up over a couple of hi readings, it could have been the stress of the weekend, being mothers day on the Sunday, or you might be starting a cold or something, if it continues then ring your Dr or DSN.
Hope things settle down, take care.

John.

In a nut shell, these things happen, especially to me, and quite often, down to nothing more than the mystery that it being human......

Just keep an eye for patterns........😉

Sorry to hear the D gremlins have been giving you a hard time Medusa. Hope this week is better.

Assume you have ruled out injection sites and/or any possible problem with the oomph of the insulin (I had a few cartridges that kind of ran out of steam a year or two ago).

Hope this week is better for you 🙂

My reading was 19.5 last night, for no discernable reason:confused:
This morning it was 6.0.🙂
I can't explain it, so I'm not going to think about it unless it happens again.
Kelly.
