Hi All

My recommendation for an invaluable diabetes bible is 'Type 1 diabetes in children, adolescents and young adults' by Ragnar Hanas.

I bought it when my son was diagnosed (almost two years ago) and i have found it invaluable.

But I don't see why it could not also be invaluable for an adult with diabetes type 1.

I have the first edition with a pale blue cover. (I think there might be a second edition out now with a yellow cover. Not quite sure though.)

The book is packed with so much helpful information and written in a reader friendly way. Also there are suggestions for how to cope with problems or queries (such as what to do if you forget to take your nighttime insulin if on multiple injections etc etc).

If anyone has it (or decides to buy it), let me know what you think.

Oops!

Apologies for the error in my previous post. I do indeed have the THIRD edition (with pale blue cover), not the first edition.
