Carly usually have levemir every night at 8pm and recently she had several late night eg wedding party, Julibee party and I noticed her level got higher that need correction so if she have a late night, should I give her levemir at her usual 8pm at a party or wait till she go to bed??

Not used Levemir, but with it's shorter duration I would imagine you;d get an hour or two's grace (earlier or later). Much more than that and you might start to see the result of the previous dose running out I suppose.

Maybe other Levemir users on here will be able to offer a more 'hands-on' perspective...

Yes, you should give the Levemir at the same time every day, regardless when she goes to bed. But you do have this 1 hour grace. So 1 hour earlier or 1 hour later shouldn't make much difference.

With the hours grace on Levimer it's wise to use this as sparingly as possible, use it too often it will start to really impact on the basal control

Great, thank you very much 🙂 I thought it was affecting her level x

It doesnt make so much difference if on higher doses I gather - K is on 30 units a day now and sometimes she has her dose a bit (2 hrs😱) later without too much problem.

Different food and/or excitement may have had an effect too.

Carly is on 10-12 units a day so its may make a difference to her, I think its best to give her levemir at usual time. Thank you for all advices x
