If you test first thing in the morning and say your bg is 8.3, is it best to wait until your levels come down to more normal levels. I haven't had anything to eat yet but have come down to 5.8. I really notice the Met does curb your appetite.

I have recently moved to a new area and have a new doctor's practice. My Hbaic is overdue but I am recovering from a UTI. Should I wait until I feel completely better - My last one was in May.

I'd suggest going and getting it done now. You'll have to see your new doctor soooner or later, and it would break the ice
