High sugar/mood meltdown?

It's true for me. Low sugar levels too!

I certainly associate elevated BGs with bad mood, partly because I get frustrated with either having messed up or getting less than ideal results from something which *should* have worked OK / was fine last week / etc...

But a year or so ago I was trying to avoid all hypos by 'running a bit higher' and not correcting and I definitely noticed change to my mood / increased grumpiness / frustration and a lack of ability to just let things slide.

Very true for me..... Been a much nicer person since I brought my BG down to acceptable levels and tried to keep it level

Same for me. That’s 2 Type2s and 2 Type 1s so far. Equal occurrence in both. Now we need a LADA and a 3c to chirp up....

Quite the statistician today, eh Mike😉

Thanks everyone. I thought as much but wasn't sure how much was me just being a grumpy blighter and how much was the result of eating wayyy too much sugar recently (I'd gone right off the good food rails in December). It culminated in a massive emotional and mood meltdown where my reactions were so out of proportion that even I barely recognised myself. I have had some family stress (mum in hospital) early December but that has happened before and I've handled things better in the past. I'm wondering if the crazy sugar consumption made things worse.
