Hi, my gluco readings lately have been in the 20s, i take metformin, gliclazide x2 x2 perday, i also take a weekly 1.5mg injection of trulycity.
I have lost 4 stone and an now 15stone..why is my sugar levels so high lately. I have blurry vision and am always tired..help

have you spoken to anybody regarding the readings of 20+
that’s is very high and your tired and having blurry vision,
what kind of things are you eating prior to producing those readings ?

How long have you been diagnosed with diabetes? Do you have a way to check for ketones? You need to seek medical advice as soon as you can with levels in the 20s as it seems your current medication isn’t working.

what sort of meals are you eating? are you keeping a diary? Sounds like you need to call in with the GP and get some tests. x

Hi Discolegz, welcome to the forum.

You've made some great progress so far so try not to be disheartened. It sounds like another trip to the GP is in order as it's not uncommon to need an adjustment in medication or even a misdiagnosis of type in the early stages.

Coupled with your report of how things have gone, they should be able to do more tests and figure out the best way forward.
