Hey

Been admitted to hospital again for High blood sugars 30+ a Ketones of 3.4.

Seem to finally be getting somewhere tho. I now have my own ketone meter and have started Nova rapid with evening meal for now.

Changed my painkillers to patches to combat the lose when I'm vomiting. Plus Larazapam to help with the anxiety I have with eating.

Feeling bit overwhelmed but will get there

Well Galli obviously I'm sorry you've needed to go into hospital, but it's brought the right result so it's not actually all bad at all!

Pleased to note you feel positive that it will all help as intended.

Sorry to hear your in hospital and hope you feel better soon.

Wow very sorry to hear you've been hospitalised at this awful time. Did you know that DKA is very rare in type3c diabetics due to the destruction of glucagon. So your having a rough time of it. Hope all is going well, best wishes to you.

Yikes! Really sorry to hear about your BGs, ketones and hospital trip @Galli - they really should have got you on the right insulins much sooner.

Hope things can settle for you now. And we are here for any questions you may have and for moral support as you adjust to your new routine.
