For the past 3 days my bloods have been continuously high - ranging from 14-21, and nothing I seem to do is getting them down and staying down. I have a cold at the moment, nothing much to write home about, just the general cold/cough, but I don't usually have such high BGs as this. I have changed the insulin cartridge but still at 19.0 at the moment so can't be that. Very odd.

how does the cough feel? Might be worth getting it checked. I find wen I have a cough and things are high it is a chest infection

Sorry to hear this Newbs.

Sounds like you are doing all the right things. So frustrating making tiny tweak changes that then have no effect. Sites OK?

Just keep ramping up the doses I guess - but test test test to make sure you don't get caught if it is the cold which then gets better!

Hi Newbs I'm sorry to hear about this. Have you heard anymore about the gastric empyting scan?

The cough feels ok, mainly tickly as I have a really rough feeling throat, doesn't feel chesty at the moment.

My sites are all ok as far as I am aware apart from my thighs but I don't inject them atm anyway.

Amanda - I heard from my DSN again today, she said that the consultant who had agreed the test is still on long term sick leave so she got another consultant to agree it but they won't refer me, says my gp has to do the referral. DSN has emailed my gp today so I'm back to waiting again but hoping that as 2 consultants have agreed it and feel I need it then he won't say no. Hopefully.
