Hi and a Happy New Year to you all.

not been on here for some time, but thought I’d ask some advice. I have had the flu virus for 2 weeks, have COPD, Asthma, Emphysema and Sarcoidosis and Type 2 Diabetic, have had antibiotics, 2 lots of increased steroids, still coughing and feeling very ill. Not eating much, but did have cheese cake and cream, bloods were 13, 21/2 hours before, 2 hours after it went to 23.4. I am on Empagliflozin, was on Semaglutide injection, but the higher dose gave me Diarrhea so had to stop it. Was wondering if there is anything I should do with it being so high or just wait and see if it falls. I’m drinking loads of water due to the flu, so hoping this will help.

I’m so tired and have no energy, putting this down to the flu.

thanks for any advice if there’s anyone there today.

Personally I'd call 111 for advice, none of us are medically trained so shouldn't pass advice on regards of what to do or anything

good luck and I hope you feel better soon
xx

Illness and steroids will raise your BG, and make it harder for your body to recover / heal. I agree with @Kaylz - sounds like you need some input from someone medically trained as you have a fair few things overlapping!
