Hi Mel

Have you mentioned your anxieties to your healthcare team? They should be able to refer you to someone who could help you. 12 is very high, could you start by decreasing that number to 10, say, and gradually reduce it?

With my anxiety I don’t like to change doses or all I do is panic am serving a diabetic specialist doctor in January hopefully she’ll be able to help me my sugars are currently around 20 which makes me really worried.

Hi, I have the same problem, got really bad this year with the hypo anxiety. I have repeatedly told the Dsn since January this year but so far nothing been offered to me and i have told them and cried in front of them about it. I have been trying slowly to get my numbers down, there is still no way i can cope with seeing a 5mmol and i cannot leave the house with that number so i then ruin it all by eating to get them up, its such a vicious circle. I have my A1c next week and dreading it because i know it will be high again. There seems so help, i just get told to be more rational which is not helpful. Just wanted you to know that youre not alone with it all x
